Serious Games
A learning simulator: faithfully reproducing 17 orthoptic tests for future orthoptists.
My roles on this project
Orthoptist Simulator is a serious game designed as a simulator that faithfully reproduces an orthoptic-examination room with all the tools needed to perform an orthoptic assessment.
It can be used as a learning, training, and self-assessment tool. It includes a points counter to track the user’s progression. The game lets the learner welcome a young virtual patient, ask them questions, perform the 17 most commonly used orthoptic tests, and compile the results for the ophthalmologist.
Each of the 17 tests has its own gameplay mechanic and reproduces the protocols realistically.
