Consulting DOWiNO (2015)

Created with the assistance of Dinno Santé and the Aide aux Jeunes Diabétiques association, GlucoZor aims to raise awareness and help children aged 8 to 12 better understand diabetes through the aspects of nutrition, physical activity, insulin, and their impact on blood sugar levels.

Designed like a tamagotchi, the game features a diabetic dinosaur in a colorful and engaging environment, inviting players to take care of it by feeding and entertaining it while keeping blood sugar levels within target range, including administering the correct insulin dosage… all in real-time!

The game was also subjected to user testing with patients and parents (n=27) to gather feedback and make adjustments. In the end, 80% of patients enjoyed playing the game and found it to be original! While not intended to replace medical advice, GlucoZor aims to engage children in their treatment, provide educational guidance, and monitor their progress in real-time.
