Lovely Juliet

Minami Hamazaki Dating Simulation, or simply Dating Sim, is a French Flash game published in 2002 by Tanukis (more precisely Studio Tanuki at the time). It’s a simulation game in which a boy tries to win the heart of the girl of his dreams. This virtual flirting game was a real success, with over 200,000 registered users before the community site was shut down. That success is what put the studio on the map.

I was in charge of developing and integrating the successive versions of the Dating Sim portal, then of its sequel Lovely Juliet which was an even greater success. It was during the development of these portals that I built, in parallel, the framework that was later used on every site produced by the studio, both for its own productions and for client work.
