Gamified pedagogical solutions
Supply-chain workshop for 150-180 Sanofi employees, inspired by the beer game.
My roles on this project
As part of its end-of-year seminar, Sanofi commissioned a playful, team-building educational workshop on the topic of supply chain. Embedded into a team-building day for 150 to 180 Sanofi employees from different departments, the workshop had to make participants understand the impacts of variability (industrial / demand / regulatory) on the supply chain, while staging realistic events that can occur in the chain (bullwhip effect, demand variation, new capacity constraints, etc.).
To meet this brief, we designed and ran a game inspired by the beer game in which each table competed against the others. Our solution accounted for the large number of participants, which led us towards a concept that prioritised feasibility and respect for the imposed timing, in order to meet the educational objectives.
